Going Strong for Over 60 Years
The South Hurstville RSL Club Sub-Branch is still going strong after more than 60 years! Meetings are conducted at 9.30am on the third Sunday of the month.
The RSL NSW Branch was formed in 1917 and currently has 60,567 members in 424 sub-Branches throughout NSW. The League is a national, non-political, non-sectarian organisation of returned and ex-servicemen and women formed to promote the interest of the ex-servicemen and women and their dependants.
South Hurstville RSL Sub Branch has existed for more than 60 years. It has a number of wartime and military memorabilia items which have been collected from many wars and donated by our members, which are displayed in the club. The sub branch also has an affiliated Women's Auxiliary which raises money for veterans charities and supports the activities of the sub branch.
South Hurstville RSL Sub Branch meets on every 3rd Sunday of the month at 9:30am. New members welcome. For more information on the sub branch and their activities, please contact the Club.
